Foraging with Joanna Ruminski

Foraging and thoughtful ways of living with nature  Joanna Ruminski from Incredible Edible UK will be joining us for foraging workshops in our beautiful 10 acre wildlife haven. It all began with foraging, learning to notice, gather, and cook from the land. Sharing stories and food in the outdoors.

Today, that work continues through teaching, speaking, retreats, and writing, all shaped by the same attentiveness to place, season, and lived experience.

The meeting point is the compound at Tulgey Woods, PL3 5DX, you'll see the Tulgey Woods gates at the end of the turning circle on Compton Vale adjacent to the entrance to Trefusis Park. We do ask visitors to avoid using petrol/diesel vehicles to travel to site wherever possible. We have a secure cycle compound (and electric charging point) for anyone arriving by bicycle. The session includes hot drinks and light refreshments. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.

Please note that we have no toilets on site but you can access the woods to find a private space if needed!

This session is funded by the National Lottery Awards for All.
